So great a revival as the Reformation has no comparison in the history of the church. Such a work is not the doing of men. It is definitively the brilliance and faithfulness of God. Yet, God is pleased to use means for His great ends.

Major Reformers

Many were the hands and hearts that contributed to the Reformation. But not all contributed equally. Not all were equally suited. Among the list of reformers we may identify Forerunners, Major Reformers, and Other Reformers. Below is a brief list of the Major Reformers, or the most instrumental of God’s servants in the formation of the Protestant Reformation.
